Defending Your Rights and Freedom
I will work energetically at all stages of the legal process to protect your rights and obtain the best outcome possible given the facts of your case.
My goal will be to obtain one of four possible outcomes — a dismissal of the charge, an ARD outcome that avoids conviction, a negotiated plea that minimizes penalties or acquittal at trial.
Act Quickly
Immediately after an arrest for a crime, it may be worthwhile for a defense lawyer to initiate a conversation with the prosecutor. At the least, I can gain an understanding of the strength of the prosecutor's case. At best, I may be able to persuade the prosecutor not to file a charge or to file a lesser charge. There is only a short window of time in which to do this however.
Call me as soon as possible at (215) 884-6743. I will begin the defense process immediately.
Avoiding Conviction and Jail
First time offenders may be eligible for an Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) outcome, that enables the offender to avoid jail and eventually clear his or her record. If you are eligible and would like an ARD outcome, I will work with the prosecutor and court to obtain it for you.
