A man from Philadelphia has been sentenced to 2 1/2 to seven years in jail after he pleaded guilty in Montgomery County Court to a felony charge of possession with intent to deliver cocaine. He agreed to a plea bargain, so several lesser charges, including possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia, were dismissed. The events that led to his charges and conviction took place in June 2012 on Welsh Road in Hatfield Township.

As firefighters were arriving on the scene, the motor home caved in as a result of the fire, according to the Fire Chief of Earl Township. He further stated that additional fire companies from New Berlinville, Oley, Amity and Boyertown responded to the blaze and assisted in fighting it for several hours. The state police fire marshal is still investigating the fire.
